Shirley Sterling's MY NAME IS SEEPEETZA

A reader told me about an article by Shirley Sterling, author of one of the boarding school books I wrote about yesterday. The article is a beautiful and moving piece of writing, and I want to share it with you:

"Seepeetza Revisited: An Introduction to Six Voices"

The article is from the on-line issue of Educational Insights, specifically from V. 3 No. 1, dated October 1995.

Debbie--quick comment: to link to articles using HTML (so that they're hot links), do this, WITHOUT the spaces except between a href (the others, I put in so the comment wouldn't get confused):
Shirley Sterling's < a href = " URL " > Seepeetza Revisited < / a > etc. etc.

It should then look like this:
Shirley Sterling's Seepeetza Revisited

and your readers will have an easier time going to sites to which you link. :-)

Thanks, Suzi. With your nudge, I figured out how to link from within posts.

Hi Debbie! Did you write this article in wikipedia on Native Americans in children's literature? You can edit/add to it if you did not. Your blog is listed.'s_Literature

I am trying to order a CD, but am having trouble finding where to buy it.

The name is: A Collection of Songs from the Heart of the Salish Nation: Seepeetza and Austin. It goes with a book written by Shirley Sterling.
