I know these fans meant well, but...
Help me figure this out...
The guys are in red, white, and blue clothes. The guy in blue has his face covered. Obviously, he's showing the world (literally) a stereotype. Dead center... Captain America. The guy on the left in white and the guy in red.... Who or what are they supposed to represent?

Liz---my daughter---took a look. She said that the three guys in red, white, or blue suits are at the game together. The guys in red and white are wearing hats---cowboys hats---decorated like a United States flag. They are Cowboys and Indians.
At the game, the three have gone over to hang with Captain America.
I am SO GLAD you managed to capture this. I didn't even see it at first, but the five year old I was babysitting at the time asked, "Why is that guy dressed as a Native American? Is there a Native American on the team?" Of course, I have to admit that while I was confused and annoyed by the image on screen, I was incredibly proud of this little boy for being so conscious. :)
I think it's zentai which is actually some weird fetish. Why in public at a soccer game with those costumes, though, no idea.
Children notice a lot and many people don't give them credit for what they have insight into. Children are very bright and we need to remember that when we put ourselves out there for display or through any other medium. I am really enjoying your blog!

I was told this story of the american colors years ago by my husband who goes by the Spirit name of Thunderbirdheard of some racists metaphor of the American colors.
Went something like this Military Plan / design. The White Man will make civilize the red man and then the Red man Will be Blue. And then we will be one with America.
