Good News about Tim Tingle's Crossing Bok Chitto
Tim Tingle's Crossing Bok Chitto has been selected for inclusion on the American Library Association's "2007 Notable Books List."
Visit Tim Tingle's website to learn more about his work. He is a Choctaw storyteller. Looking at his webpage, I see he's got a few other books that I will order.

Tim and I both live in the Texas Hill Country so I have the pleasure of seeing him now and again. I highly recommend him as a speaker. He's very entertaining and has a lovely, upbeat personality. I'm so thrilled his book was recognized by the ALA.
ReplyDeleteNo ARC's left by the time I got to ALA, but I picked up as many postcards as I dared without someone thinking me greedy, to share around with friends.
ReplyDeleteWe at Cinco Puntos Press are very proud of Tim and also Jeanne Rorex Bridges, the illustrator. Please find out more about Tim, Jeanne and the book at http.//www.cincopuntos.com
