I mailed hard copies of the books that apparently never arrived. I don't know if you have a policy to not review self-published works, but if you don't, then I'd like to try again. The teacher you mentioned in this blog "Historical Fiction by Native Writers" is probably from California since she mentioned Island of the Blue Dolphins. My historical novel series is specifically intended to offer CA teachers a way to teach 4th grade California history from a Native perspective. I've received glowing reviews from Native and non-Native educators, including the Chumash Culture Department, which I'm happy to provide. These three books have proven especially effective for teachers because of the available teacher guides that provide the history-social science framework laid out by the California state department of education.
